ReplyDeleteDifference between Edward and Bella's youth (?)...Proposal of marriage, pg 540, from reading this section the first time, I never considered Edward and Bella marrying. Again, second time around, it amazes me about a proposal. Edward is so serious, come on, he's had all these years to consider this moment with the right person being that he is surrounded by "couples", and Bella's answer, "Okay, What's the punch line?" I truly believe that Bella had no idea this was even in the plans between her and Edward.
What I learned...I guess I must of skipped or skimmed the part of Jane's special talent in my first few readings of New Moon. So I asked, what was that special talent to make Edward suffer in pain? pg. 474 Then I got it, she can give them pain even though your not in pain. It's an illusion.
I loved and remembered...pg 525 Edward learns of Bella's "voices". When you love someone so much, when that person is gone (death, separation...), you still feel that person with you. For Bella it needed to be those moments of recklessness for Edward to come into her mind.
Kind of confused, so help me out...pg 517 So Bella is talking about Jacob and his Pack. It was a normal conversation to talk about the werewolves that Edward distained. Did Edward and Bella discuss the werewolves before hand so the conversation was not so "shocking" to
Bella? Help me understand as Bella still didn't know about Jacob's change in beginning of book.
Epilogue...Feature of Edwards face. When I read this piece it made me like that Catherine Hardwicke really did find the perfect "Edward". At first, I didn't like Rob Pattison as the choice of Edward. I thought Catherine could have done better. I also thought she did a great job in picking the rest of the team. But while reading this piece, Rob grew on me as the "only" Edward for the part.
